In the weekend leading up to St Patrick’s Day 2020, Fáilte Ireland have inspired The Late Late Show to hit the road and discover this beautiful country of ours.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up The Late Late Show Live in Limerick will showcase the best and brightest of Irish talent, celebrate Irishness and community spirit, and be broadcast live from the University Concert Hall on Friday March 13th on RTÉ One.The upcoming show will mark the first time in Ireland that The Late Late Show has been broadcast outside of its studio in Donnybrook since an external broadcast from Wexford Opera House in 2008. In October 2018, The Late Late Show travelled to the UK and was broadcast from London.Host Ryan Tubridy said:”Since The Late Late Show came back in September, we have noticed an appetite with viewers for a celebration of Ireland, what’s great about this country of ours, the wonderful people, the positives…“The point of our upcoming trip to Limerick is that we are celebrating the best of Irish. Both of them grabbed the victim’s sweater and one of them said “give me everything you got.” They then took the victim’s cell phone, Bluetooth and house keys before fleeing, the release said.OPD said no injuries were reported, but the victim told police he was in fear for his life.Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a red hoodie and black hat with Spanish words, around 5 feet and 10 inches tall with a medium build. The second suspect was described as a black man in a black hoodie and gray jeans; around 6 feet tall with a thin build.OPD is asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to call OPD at 432-333-3641 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS and reference case number 18-09258.
