Over 65 voter turnout registered at LG elections

Over 65% of voter turnout had been registered at the Local Government (LG) elections, the Elections Department said.Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya said that there were no serious incidents reported for the voting at any electorate to be cancelled. He said that overall the election was peaceful with only a few incidents reported. (Colombo Gazette)
